The First Posting of My Blog

I'm here in New York visiting my younger son who's attending school in Manhattan. My older son is also here with us and during a leisure breakfast at Barney Greengrass, he suggested my writing a blog. This is my first entry. I'll try to write more to share than to impress, to inspire rather than depress and to have each reader appreciate more about life. On the eve of Memorial Day, we need to think about the lives lost of too many so that we may enjoy the impressive freedoms of life in this country.
